The Hyperbolic Loop

A recursive structure designed to test the limits of spatial reasoning in digital environments.

Type

Core Artifact

Role

Anchor of The Loop Chamber

Tools

Spline, Figma, MidJourney, AE, WordPress, Elementor

Status

Active / Stable

The Hyperbolic Time Chamber always resonated with me.

A space where time moves differently. Where the world falls away, and the only thing left is the work.

The training. The vision. The version of you you’re trying to become. That space exists for me too. Not in a floating palace, but in the loop. When I step into the loop, the hours stretch.

Symbolism

The Hyperbolic Loop is more than an artifact, it’s a symbol. A creative field where repetition becomes refinement. And practice becomes pattern.

Purpose

It’s where ideas turn into systems. And where systems become identity. This isn’t a sprint. It’s a loop designed for self-calibration.

Focus

Symbolic Weight

The artifact began by assembling a visual moodboard of objects with symbolic weight. Hourglasses, ceremonial drums, precise mechanical parts, and spacecraft capsules all resonated with the idea of disciplined time.

MidJourney Exploration

Tool

MidJourney v5

Output

Material Rnd

After setting the initial shape, I moved into MidJourney to quickly explore material textures and visual qualities. I tested various combinations of spectral glass, sandstone, and polished metal.

3D Forming in Spline

Software

Spline 3D

Action

Realtime Modeling

I began modeling directly in Spline, shaping the artifact in real-time. The form was refined to feel balanced, anchored, and dynamic even when stationary.

Glyph Development

System

6-Part Grid

Tool

Figma

With the main form established, I moved to create a symbolic glyph system in Figma. I designed six glyphs representing essential creative disciplines: focus, flow, form, friction, function, and finish.

Animation

Looping Emitters

After integrating the glyph system, I carefully refined the materials, lighting, and animation. The core challenge was timing the music and final frame of the animation sequence to represent the concept of the loop.

Embed

The artifact was developed using Spline for geometry and interactive animation. The page layout and responsive adjustments were built using WordPress and Elementor.

Mobile Optimization

Format

.webm Fallback

Constraint

Performance

To ensure the artifact performed well on mobile devices, I created an optimized fallback animation in .webm format.

The Value of Simplicity

Creating this artifact taught me the value of simplicity and intentional repetition. It highlighted the importance of slowing down and deeply exploring each design decision.
